Passover Chicken with Farfel Stuffing

 
   
   
   
Ingredients -  
   

1 cup minced Onion
1/2 cup diced Celery
1/2 cup Chopped Nuts
6 tablespoons Shmaltz( chicken fat)
3 3/4 cups Farfel
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
2 teaspoons Paprika
1 beaten Egg
1 can condensed Chicken Soup
2 (3 pound) Chickens cut up

 
   
Preparation:  
   

Wash and dry chickens. Grease baking pan. In a skillet melt the chickenb fat and saute the onions,celery and nuts. Add the farfel and mix in. Add remaining ingredients except chicken. Spread farfel mixture into pan and place chicken pieces on top. Bake in 350 oven for 1-1/2 hours,cover for part of the cooking time.
