SAUTE mushrooms and capers in hot oil in a large
heavy skillet over medium-high heat until mushrooms are tender. Stir
in 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Remove from heat, and set aside.
COOK fettuccine alfredo sauce in microwave at MEDIUM (50% power)
1 minute. Add pasta, and microwave 8 to 9 more minutes. Add to mushroom
mixture, and toss. Keep warm.
SPRINKLE salmon evenly with remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt.
GRILL salmon, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350°
to 400°F) 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Serve over fettuccine mixture.
