Mix flour, sugar and salt. Gradually add milk
that has had chocolate melted in it. Cook over moderate heat, stirring
constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 minutes. Remove
from heat. Add small amount of cooked mixture to egg yolks; stir into
remaining hot mixture. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add butter,
vanilla and cool. Pour in baked pie shell. Cover with meringue made
of 3 egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar. Bake in moderate oven, 350
degrees, for 15 minutes.
