Cream together Crisco, brown sugar, sugar and
vanilla. Beat and add eggs. Mix together and gradually add flour,
baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. After doing
as directed above, drop batter by well rounded teaspoon onto greased
cookie sheets. Bake 8 minutes at 325 degrees or until barely brown.
Yield: 7 to 8 dozen.
