Strawberry Shortcake

 
   
   
   
Ingredients -  
   

1/4 cup Honey
2 tablespoons Butter, melted
1 package Frozen Pound Cake, thawed and cut into10 slices (10.75 ounces)
1 1/2 cups Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed
1 quart Fresh Strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
1/2 pint Fresh Blueberries, washed

 
   
Preparation:  
   

Preheat the broiler. In a small bowl, combine the honey and butter; mix well. Brush half of the honey mixture over one side of each slice of cake and place coated side up on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden. Carefully turn over the slices and brush the uncoated side with the remaining honey mixture. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through and golden. Place on a large serving platter or individual serving plates and top each with the whipped topping, strawberries, and blueberries.
