Bavarian Bread Dumplings |

10 White Rolls
1-2 cups Milk
1/2 cup Bacon or Ham
1 tablespoon Butter
1 small Onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
3 Eggs
Salt and Pepper
Nutmeg

| Preparation: |

| |
|
Slice rolls finely and soak in lukewarm milk. Bread
should be moist but not soggy. Dice bacon or ham and fry in butter together
with chopped onion and parsley. Add eggs and seasoning to bread slices
and combine with fried ingredients. Shape into dumplings. Cook in salt
water for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
