Corn Bread

 
   
   
   
Ingredients -  
   
1 cup of Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Yellow Corn Meal
2 Eggs
1 cup of Milk
1/4 cup Shortening
 
   
Preparation:  
   
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Beat until just smooth. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
