Ginger Dipping Sauce
Ingredients -
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
1-1/2 tablespoons Sugar
1 fresh Red Chile Pepper, seeded and minced
1 tablespoon grated Fresh Gingerroot
3 tablespoons fresh lime or Lemon Juice
3-1/2 tablespoons Nuoc Mam (Vietnamese fish sauce)
Preparation:
Combine the garlic, sugar, chile and ginger in a small bowl or mortar. Crush the mixture to a paste.
Add the lime juice and fish sauce and stir to blend.
